Perspectives

 

 She had been so busy looking down
 at the bright red ball rolling about her feet 
 that she’d missed the balloon floating away from the its tethered position on the balustrade. 
 

 She had been so busy looking down
 at the beautiful baby crawling about her feet 
 that she’d missed her husband storming out of her life from his tethered position in her life.
 

 She wasn’t really bothered by the loss of either.
